One day Rosa wrote to her friend, who was a doctor, invite him to have dinner with her families. A few days later the doctor wrote back to her but she couldn’t read his writing because the letters were written careless. Then she asked her husband for the help, but he couldn’t read it, too. Then her husband got an idea. He told her that a chemist might be able read the doctor’s letter. So the woman went to chemist’s. The chemist in the shop studied the letter for a long time but he gave her a large bottle of medicine. He told the woman she would eat twelve pills a day. Finally Rosa still had no idea whether her friend will come or not.

My name is Linda. I used to living in the countryside of Chicago with my parents, that were born in New York. Living in the countryside have a lot of advantages. Last summer I go to America and studied at a language school. I had many wonderful experience，but I also had a sad one. One day，the school held party，where I invited to talk about Tianjin. I have already studied English for eight years，I can’t use it very good. I must work hard to improve my spoken English so that I will not be able to communicate freely with foreigners. As is well know, when senior students graduate from school, most of their textbooks are thrown away , that are still in good condition. What waste of it ! I quite agree to the suggestion that we should recycle these textbooks. For one thing, recycling textbooks can save a lot of nature materials, which are used to making textbooks. For other, senior students may have plenty of usefulnotes on the pages. They are very helpful to those textbooks users. However, the cost of the books will unload some burden of the families of the students. Actually in Australia and some other countries, recycling textbooks are popular and that it gives us a good example. Why can’t they have a try?

Do you know how it is that cats eat first and wash their hands and faces afterwards? One day a unlucky mouse was just about to be eaten with a cat. The mouse was quick-minded. He say to the cat, "Don’t you have any manner at all? Everyone knows you should wash your hands and face after you eat." The cat ashamed of this and began to wash. While the cat was washing happy, the mouse ran off, and so the cat lost her meal. Ever since then cats have been eaten first and washed them afterwards.

My brother Tom was very selfish when he was a little boy. He didn't want share things with other people. For an example，when he bought a chocolate cake，he put them in a secret place where I could not find . Then he eats it all by himself. He never helped others. He said he was busy. In fact，a game of tennis making him very busy. He didn't care if something he did made people angrily. For instance，in a cold night he played strong and loudly music till 4 o'clock in the morning. But he is difference now. He often helps Grandma with housework，mom with cooking and his classmates with their lessons.
