Dear Lucy,
I am very excited to learn that you’re coming to Xi’an for travel. Both my parent miss you a lot. So is our friend, Ruby. April is best time of the year to visit Xi’an. There is only a few rain and the weather is neither too hot or too cold. There are so many places I wanted to take you to after I finish my work like a volunteer in the local charity. When you come, you can stay with ourselves. My house is about three kilometers far away from Xi’an Moslem Street where is full of local foods.

I live in a very old town which is surrounding by beautiful woods. It is a famous beauty spot. In Sundays, hundreds of people come from the city to see our town and to walk through the woods. Visitors have asked to keep the woods clean and tidy. Litter baskets have been placed under the trees, and people still throw their rubbish everywhere. Last Wednesday, I go for a walk in the woods. That I saw made me very sad. I counted seven old cars and three old refrigerators. The litter basket were empty and the ground was covered with pieces of paper, cigarette ends, old tyres, empty bottles or rusty tins. Among the rubbish, I found a sign which was said, “Anyone who leave litter in these woods will be prosecuted(依法处置)!”

Some students don’t like talking about their parents often as if their parents love them very much. Are you going on well with your parents? You and your parents will be very happily if you can be friends. Here are some way to have a good talk with them. Find a good time to talk, like when you’re eating dinner, going out for walk and watching TV. Tell them something you’re interested in, or ask them about their lives when they are young. They love to talk about our past! Meet them face to face and listen to them carefully. Be honesty, and your parents will trust you more.
