An eight-year-old child heard her parents talking about her little brother. She knew that his little brother was very ill and they had no money. Only a very expensive operation（昂贵的手术） could save（挽救）him now.
When she heard her father say to her mother, “Only a miracle can save him now,” the little girl went to her bedroom and took her money and counted it carefully.
She ran to a drugstore (药店) with the money in her hand.

That man was Dr. Carlton Armstrong, a famous doctor. The operation was successful and Andrew got back home again soon.
