They both looked worrying. I went up to help them. The lady is Australian. She wanted to buy a pair of traveling shoes. So I told it to the salesgirl. The lady was very much glad when she took it. She sings high praise for my spoken English. All of them expressed their thanks to me. I felt happy that I expressed myself free in English.

One night, I was on my home for my Christmas holiday when my car broke down. It was complete dead, and I was a few miles away from my home in that cold, wet night. I decided to walk around a little after accepting that I’d have to spend the night in the car. Maybe I can find a telephone. Actually, I didn’t have to walk far before I found the small house standing in a field with a light shone from the sitting room. I knocked the door and was delighting when a pleasant old man opened the door and listened to my story carefully. He said he had no telephone and that it wasn’t any within walking distance, but the old man who offered to go to repair my car.

What is known to all, life is hard. We should not give out hope. By the time we give up, we will have been lost the chance to succeed. Chances are always there. I was in my way home from college when I got a phone call, telling me that my best friend sudden passed away. On heard the news, I sat on the ground and cried. People stepped over us. Then I saw a pair of shoe in front of me. It was a young man, whom was probably in his twenties. He asked me what had happened and brought me to cafe, treating me for a cup of coffee. I calmed down a little when he gently suggested I washed my face. When I came back from the bathroom, he was disappeared. The woman behind the counter said he had paid a full dinner for me and left money in case I needed a taxi home.

Not only does our parents give us life, but they give us endlessly love and support, and always share with our happiness and sorrow. I’m very grateful to my parent who give me so much love and spare no effort to support myself. I still remember once I was seriously ill, and they were so worried and almost keep me company the whole night. Now I’m in Senior 3. Lucky enough, my parents can understand my stressful condition but often encourage me. However, they give me enough personal space, which I appreciate so much. What I should do now is studying hard. When I grow up, I will try my best to make my parents live happy life.
