Anna and I have been good friends when we were children. Two years ago, her family got into trouble because a terrible accident. To cheer her up, I always try my best to help her.
One day she said she would invite us to have lunch. I began to worry: she had no money, and if I offered to pay, I would hurt her. We arrived at a restaurant, where was small but seemed nice and quiet. She paid for only one meal and we were started to enjoy the delicious food together. She told me that the restaurant let people work for the meal if they had no money.
Life cannot be easy for us, but we can still do anything for our friends. The world will be nice if everybody would like to share happiness with others.

I watch TV until nearly 12 o’clock, so I could not go over my lessons. This morning I got up very late that I had to hurry to school without breakfast. Yet I was late for the first class. As is reported that the earthquake was so strong as to cause 68,109 death and 364,552 people were hurt. Many buildings were destroyed and over 5 millions people are living a hard life. Just imagining how the students there need to help and that schools should be built so that they can return to classes. People all over the world are trying his best to help them. Here Students’ Union calls everyone to give away your old clothes, pocket money, used books or something other. When I first learn to write in English, I ran into much difficulties. The main problem was that I always thought in Chinese and tried to translate into my own language everything which I came across while I was reading. My teacher advised myself to keep a diary. I followed his advices and put down 100 words or so each day.
Soon I began to enjoy talk to myself as I was learning to express myself with simple English. One day I wrote a story and showed to my teacher. He liked it very much that he read it to the class. All said that the story was a good one. Their words were an great encouragement to me.
