What I am actually eager to do is being a responsible person. I used to thinking it was so hard to grow up into a responsible member of our society. Besides, it was an accident happening in a snowy morning that changed my attitude . I was on the way to school and was waiting for the green light with my classmate John while a girl was knocked down by passing car. Without hesitation we ran to her and gave her first aid the instant when we saw it . Soon many help was given to him by the people nearby. Because we sent her to the nearest hospital in time, she was able to receive proper treatment . By the time she left the hospital, she has written a letter expressing her gratitude to those giving help. We both felt so proud that from then on we made up our mind to be always kind and responsible men.
Patience is of great important in our daily life. Once I waited a bus to come at a stop. 30 minutes past, but no bus came. Both upset and annoyed, I decided to walk on feet. But no sooner had I left when the bus arrived. I thought if I had waited for one more minute, I would have caught it. If I chose to take a next bus, I would have to wait for other 30 minutes. Only then do I realize my problem. Being impatient will possibly waste all the effort that we have put it in. Now whenever I am close to lose my patience, I’ll think of this experience

Our government is trying hard to build an energy-saving society. It is somebody’s duty to work hard and reach this goal. Besides, not everybody has realized the important of it. Take our school for example. Sometime we can see that lights and computers are still on after class. Some students even forget to turn on the tap after using it and have water run all the time. Our papers are printed on only one side, which causing much waste. It’s time we did something to avoid this kind of waste. Firstly, make sure that all the light and other electric facilities turned off when we leave the rooms. Try to form the habit of turning off the tap immediate after using it. What’s more, papers should be printed on both sides and reused if possible.

I, together with my two friends, were eating dinner at a Chinese restaurant, locating in the center of New York. I noticed the young woman eating with two kids. We stopped by and I asked the kids if he believed in Santa. The elder boy, whom was about seven years old, pointed his younger sister and said, “She does, but I don’t.” I told them Santa was real and as we were paying for our dinner, I paid for theirs, either. I didn’t know that whether the woman was alone, but I grow up with my mother supporting us four kids alone. I still feel good thinking I may have helped on some small ways.
