As your Chinese friends, I would like to give you a briefly introduction to it. Taiwan Island, the largest island in our country, which lies west of the Pacific Ocean, with the East Sea surrounded its southeast. In the west of the island is Fujian, other province of China.
Taiwan has an area of about 3600 square kilometers and the population of over 20,000,000. The scenery is such beautiful and the climate is so pleasant what travelers come in a continuous stream for a visit from all over the world, I am sure you will have a lot fun there.
When we had our class, our psychology teacher would take any liquid medicine from a tiny bottle. This touched the whole classes. We thought that he should ask for leave and stayed at home for a rest, so he came to each class on time. Therefore, all of us studied psychology hard than we did any other subject. In the end of that term, we told him that how much we appreciated him. We were so worrying about her health that we asked him what disease he got and what medicine he took. With satisfied smile, he said, “I'm quite all right and it's a bottle of tea.”

Last Tuesday, the Students' Union in our school advised that Senior Three students shall do something specially for their parents on their 18th birthdays. All the students are active in responding it and most of them have come up with their ideas. Some choose to write a letter saying it's best way to express their appreciations as well as love for their parents. Others will prefer to cook a big meal to show that they've already grown up.
As for me, I want to do up hair and wash feet for my parents. By doing which my parents have been doing for me I can really know how much they've devoted to bring me up. Being 18 years old mean that we should learn to be independent and that we should be responsible for us.

Music and songs play a important part in our daily life. For example, it can bring us pleasure and make us happy. Besides, they can help us improve our study and working efficiency. I fond of listening to songs and music very much, but my favorite song is Country Road. The lyrics and music bring me into a beautiful world in that I am loved and cared by Grandma. What's more, they make me think of my wonderful childhood was spent in my hometown and I can still remember the game played with my young fellow. In a word, once enjoying, the song will never be forgotten.
Students go to colleges and universities to have valuable experiences and learn to live in their own. Go to college often means having the opportunity to meet with different peoples from different parts of the country. They learn to communicating and co-operate with each other. For most students, we guess, it is the first time that they had been away home. They are faced by many new situations and have to learn to solve them independently, making decisions on our own and dealing with various things themselves. So colleges and universities help with them grow up.
I first met Li Ming at a friend birthday party five years ago. Then I invited Li Ming over in my place. We listen to my CDs together and soon became best friend. Three years ago, Li Ming’s parents invited I to spend two wonderful week in Qingdao with them during the summer holiday. Li Ming and I loved walking along the beautifully beaches there. Last year I was ill but had to stay in hospital for a week. Li Ming came see me every day. Then his father has changed jobs and they moved to another city. Since then we haven’t see each other much. But we’ve kept writing to each other.
