Now there is a family problem. Nearly every parent says that we never grow up. In fact we are probably 16 or 17 years old. In their eyes, we are always little ones and often do wrong things. For example, when I need to stay at home alone, they always worry about me and my life without them.
Most parents always think that they have offered the best things they can to make their children live in a comfortable world. They buy their children pretty clothes, cool shoes, everything that they can for their dear children. In return, they only want their children to get good results in the exams.
But why still can’t their children understand them? Does it mean that we still want more material things? No. As a matter of fact, what we want is a true family. What does a true family mean”? I think it means a place where we can hide ourselves from the cold world outside. From here, we can get warmth, we can get consolation(安慰), and we can get happiness. And one important thing is that we should be stronger and more confident in the outside world because we know that we have a true family.
So I think that parents should sit down to talk with their children to let know that they have a true family, so the children and their parents could understand each other more and more. Then, parents will not treat their children as little ones.

Do we have too much food? Of course not. According to the UN World Food Programme, there were 900million hungry people all over the world in 2013. About six million children die of hunger every year.
So think about it. We should say no to people who waste food every day. An old saying goes, “Every grain on the plate comes from hard work.” It tells us everybody must save food.
Luckily, a number of people have realized the importance of saving food. Li Hong, a waitress in a restaurant in Jiangsu, once lost her job because she took some leftover(剩余的) food home for her son. But many people were by her side and criticized (批评) the waste of food.
What should we do in our daily life to stop wasting food? We can do many things to prevent it from happening. Here are some tips:
Don't order too much food in a restaurant. Only order as much as you can eat. If you can’t eat all the food you order, take the rest of it home.
Don’t be too picky(挑剔的) about food. some food may not be tasty, but put body need it.
Don’t keep too much food at home, especially for fruit and vegetables.

Table manners are different in different countries. What is polite in China may not be polite in the Unite States. These basic rules will help you enjoy western food with your American friends.
When you sit down at the table, always put the napkin on your lap first.
