Have you ever heard of Monkey College? Who do you think goes to school there? If you said monkeys, you were right. Dogs are not the only animals that can be trained to help. Helping hands an organization in Cambridge, Massachusetts, trains capuchin monkeys to be companions and helpers for people in wheelchairs who can't move their arms or legs.

More than 20 years ago, Dr. M. J. Willard was working with a person who had recently become paralyzed(瘫痪). She thought that a monkey might be able to help her patient with some basic housework. Dr. Willard was right. Not only can monkeys be trained to help people, they are also wonderful companions.

Capuchin Monkeys are found in the wild in South Central America. They are about the size of a small cat and can live to be nearly 40 years old. They are very smart. They are also known for being friendly and good with their hands. Capuchin Monkeys have opposable thumbs ,which means they can use their hands much in the way that people do.

Everyday tasks, like turning on a light, putting something in the microwave, or playing a CD player, can be difficult for someone who cannot use his or her arms and legs. Capuchin Monkeys can easily perform these tasks. This allow their owners more freedom. They can do things on their own and can live independently.

The monkeys and their owners become friends and learn to depend on each other. Some owners say the monkeys are almost like children to them. The monkeys can be mischievous and sometimes like to play tricks on their owners. This is especially true of young monkeys. Mostly ,though, they like to please their owners. They like the tricks they receive when they do a good job, and they like to be praised.

Helping Hands matches disabled people to monkey companions who can help them. But the close friendships between the monkeys and their owners happen all on their own.

C. wild monkeys

(2)The following are the tasks for the trained monkeys EXCEPT

Sometimes you feel busy and worried. 你可能有许多事情要做,时间却不够。You may wonder, “ Where does time go?” Here are some ideas to help you make use of it and find more free time to enjoy your life.
Plan ahead of time. It’ s necessary for you to make a plan at the beginning of a week or a day. Think of what you really need and don’t need to do. Spare(匀出)some time to have a short rest and look back on what you’ve done. You may have a sense of success.
Say no to yourself. If you are not excited about attending(出席)a social activity, then don’t go. 呆在家里休息。If you plan to go to a supermarket but it is raining heavily, why not stay inside? It’s fine to change your mind and do your shopping another day.
Change your pace(节奏). If you usually go shopping on Saturday, choose a weekday night to go instead. The stores are less crowded on Wednesday evening than Saturday afternoon. You can feel better if you regard your way home as taking a relaxing walk after supper.
Focus on(关注)simple pleasures. When your day’s work is done, it’s time to get yourself relaxed. A pleasant bath, a cup of coffee or a gentle song can be enough. Although expensive relaxation is nice, when you focus on simple pleasures, you’ll get more.

Internet is educational . Many people think children should be allowed to surf the Internet as they wish . In this way ,they can look through different subjects on different kinds of websites according to their own interest . But in my opinion ,children should always be watched while surfing the internet .
Many websites have information and pictures that children should not see .There are many things that children don’t understand .All of these may have some bad influence on children ‘s development . Also , it is dangerous to let children use chat rooms by themselves .Many parents tell their children not to talk to strangers on the street , so they should be careful of whom their children talk to on the internet, too . What’s more , sitting in the front of a computer for a long time isn't good for children’s eyes , so parents should monitor(监视) the time that children spend on the internet .
In a word ,children should be kept away anything that could be bad for them . I strongly believe that it is necessary for parents to watch their children when they use internet .
Is the Internet educational all the time ?
What do the parents tell children to do when they meet strangers on the street ?
Why shouldn’t children sit in front of a computer for a long time ?
Who can help children stay away from the bad influence on the Internet ?
