第一节 短文改错（共10小题；每小题1分，满分10分）
此题要求改正所给短文中的错误.对标题号的每一行做出判断：如无错误，在该行右边的横线上划（√）；如有错误（每行只有一个错误），则按下列情况改正：
此行多一个词：把多余的词用斜线划掉，在该行右边横线上写出该词，并也用斜线划掉。
此行缺一个词：在缺词处加一个漏字符号（^），在该行右边横线上写出该加的词。
此行错一个词：在错的词下划一横线，在该行右边横线上写出改正后的词。
注意：原行没有错的不要改。

Dear Mr and Mrs Smith，
I want to thank you again for have me in your home for the summer holidays. I returned to my village after moving away so long and it was really delighted to see most of my old friends again. I told my parents and all my friend here what a great time I had. I found very interesting to ride a horse down a river. I also enjoyed the evenings we spent them together. And I can't forget the good food you cook for me. It was wonderful. I wish you two can come to my home some time soon. Father and Mother look forward to see you. Maybe you could come during a winter holidays. My uncle Ben will also go back for Christmas with us. I’m sure we'll have a wonderful time together.

My brother Tom was very selfish when he was a little boy. He didn't want share things with other people. For an example，when he bought a chocolate cake，he put them in a secret place. Then he eats it all by himself. He never helped other. He said he is busy. That is，a game of tennis making him very busy. He didn't care if something he did made people angrily. For instance，on a cold night he played strong and loudly music till 4 o'clock in the morning. But he is difference now. Rowena and Billy Wrangler are model high school students and do extreme well in achievement tests. And next year, Rowena will attend Harvard University. Billy, her younger brother, hope to go to Cornell. That makes Rowena and Billy different from most students are that they don’t go to school . In fact, they've never been school . Since a kindergarten, they have studied at home. Neither Rowena or Billy feels as if they have missed out on nothing by being taught at home. As many of the more than one million people who receive home schooling in the United States, they feel that we have gotten a good education.

Tom and Jack are next door neighbours who all work in same office, so they often walk together to and from office. One afternoon, they were walking to home together while it started to rain. Tom quickly opened his umbrella and said proud, “My wife really has great foresight (远见). She said this morning it will rain and told me carry my umbrella with me.” Jack smiled and walked closely to him under the protection of Tom’s umbrella and said, “My wife has even great foresight.He didn’t let me carry mine and told me to use yours.”
