My husband and I had decided to buy a new house, and I
made the appointment to see our bank manager. I’ve never met
him ago and was a little nervous. I drove into town and
was luck enough to find a parking space outside the bank. I was
just starting into the space while another car drove into it. I was very
angry. I opened my window and shouted the other driver. He
ignored me and walked away. It spent me 20 minutes to find

I am an overweight girl struggle to make my way through high school. I’m always tired and my left knee often hurt when I am walking. I am fighting to be treated the same like others. I have been overweight for many year since I was a primary student and through the time I have been made fun or laughed at. However, I had learned to find ways to make myself happily. I have friends and my family who respect me for who I am and who don’t mind that I look like or my large body. Though I still don’t fit in with everyone and I still get laughed at, but at least I have friends who care about them. Of course, I’m trying to lose weight and become thin.

One Saturday afternoon, Li Hua and Wang Ping, members of “Green Eyes”, was having an environmental protection activity near the riverside when they catch sight of a bird on the ground. They picked it out and found it wounded. Think it might die without timely help, they took it to home. They made a nest for it but fed it with rice and water. Under their treatment and care, the lucky bird got recovered soon. When time came for them fly the bird back to nature, they felt a bit pity but very delighting.

In the traffic court of a large mid-western city, a young lady is brought before the judge to
answer a ticket given to her for drive through a red light. He explained that she was school teacher
and requested an immediately disposal of her case in order that she might hurried to her classes.
A wild idea came upon to the judge’s mind. “You are a school teacher, eh?” said he. “Madam, I
shall realize me life-long ambition. Sit down on that table and write ‘I went through a red light’
five hundred time.”
