Though great progress have been made in science these years, there are still many people live in poor conditions. They make their lives by collecting or selling used things. Their children cannot go to school because they had not enough money to send their children there. How do you think so many people still suffer from poverty now? The answer lies on the population explosion﹙人口大爆炸﹚. A president of a developing country once said, “It is us who are to blame for the poverty because we used to ‘produce’ child without limit.” Although this few words sound simple enough, they have clear pointed out one of the causes of the population explosion.

Dear Mark,
It’s pity you can’t go over your lessons with us. We will take the English finally exam next Thursday, which is also the last day of the exam week. This is different about the exam is that it consisted of two parts, that is, answering three of the five questions and writing articles. We are supposing to go over our mid-term exam papers, textbooks and class notes to prepare from it. The grade is made up of three part. The final exam will make up of 55% of our final grade, the reach work 20% and the mid-term 25%. Please feel free to contact me unless you are still not clear about it. An Australian farmer found the kangaroo caught in the fence around his farms．He
thought the poor animal was injured, but the kind farmer took off his jacket and put on the
animal．Then he started trying to cut the fence to free the animals．But as soon as the kangaroo
were free, it jumped up and ran away with the jacket．The farmer was worried because of his
wallet was in the pocket．But, to my surprise, when he gets home, he saw the animal waiting at
the door, still wore his jacket with the wallet in the pocket．

I will share with you a true story happened a couple of days ago．One of my classmate bought a bag of snacks from a food store．A few roommates were then invited to enjoy snacks．Unluckily, all of them got poisoned and had stomachaches with our faces pale．They are quickly sent to a nearby hospital．Docto

Mark Twain, like you know, was famous in his days as the public speaker. He always liked to
play joke on his friends. One day, the one of his friends lost their wallet and asked him to buy a
train ticket for him. “But I don’t have enough money to pay both your ticket and mine,” Mark
Twain said. The friend didn’t know what to do. “Let’s do this, “ Mark Twain saying, “You can
get off the train and when the conductor comes to check the ticket you can hide under my seat.”
Later, however, when the conductor comes to check the ticket, Mark Twain gave him two
tickets-----one for him and the other for his friend.

Recently, students in our class have had a discussion on whether space is worthy exploring.
30% of us thinks space exploration is not worthwhile. They think space is so far away from us and our daily life. And the money spending on space exploration can be used to solve the earth problems such as starvation and pollution.
In the other hand, 70% think that space worth exploring because we have benefited a lot for it, such as using satellites for communication and to weather forecast. What’s more, with further space research, we may solve the population problem by moving to other planets one day. Also, space research will enable us to find new sources to solve the problem of energetic shortages on the earth.
