As we all know, travelling can be an excited experience. Let me give you some
advices that you have to pay attention. You can find out more about your destination
by surf the internet before you set out. You needn’t take too many cash. Though it can be very convenient to pay in cash, using cheques is much more reliable. In additional, it will be wise of you to take an umbrella in case of it should rain. And if you are to travel abroad, you’d better understand the cultural diversity. Keep this in mind that being politely in foreign countries can help you had a wonderful trip.
Last weekend I went to the Summer Palace as usually. At about noon, I was enjoying my reading near a lake while suddenly I hear someone crying for help. I went up to see what was happening. I was shocking to find a little child struggling in the water in the distance while many people standing by without doing anything. Without any hesitation, I had pushed through the crowd and I took off my coat, but jumped into the water quickly. I managed to reach him and carried him back to safety. To his great relief, the kid was saved.
I was proud what I had done. I wish everyone can give hand when someone else is in need.

In order to realize his dream, Bill Gates, richest man in the world, gave in studying in Harvard University, that is the most famous in the world. He set up a company and researching the computer software. An old saying go: “Interest is the best teacher.” I quite agree with this idea. I began to be crazy about English when I was a little girl. I got particular interested in foreign cultures or customs. To meet us curiosity, I read English stories every day. It seemed to be the best “meal” of a day. As for a result, I always did very well in English exam. Interest is the key to success.
I’m good at singing. I’ve been interested in music and dreamed of become a singer ever since my childhood. My parents began to teach me children’s songs until I was only three. After I started school I had more chances to enjoy various song, such as folk songs and popular songs, and practicing singing a lot. I like singing English songs as well, which greatly benefits me in my learning of English.
Practice makes perfectly. I have made great progress in singing and my efforts have paid for. Last year, I take part in a talent show and won prize.I think everyone is unique and has our advantages in some respects. I know my singing skills still need to be improved. But I’m confidence that I will serve our society with my songs in the future.
