Do you read reviews after you see a movie? I use to do that, but I usually regretted. I read so much about a movie on advance that I often ended up not go to see it at all. The writers point out everything that is wrong with the film, but seldom mentions anything good about one. They also tell many things and even the ending of the movie. Lately I have changed way I choose movies to watch. I read reviews afterwards if necessary. What is very importance to me is that I don’t watch
the talk shows in that people discuss movies. And I don’t ask other people how they like of it. Now, I enjoy myself even more.
Last term before I got the message that two of my classmates will not attend our final discussion, I cried. Undoubtedly, I am an extreme anxious person.I feel nervous if anything on my schedule will not carried out.My personality has always bothered me a lot. One thing I would like to changing is my character.I attended the lecture a few week ago. The lecturer said a sentence that left an impression on me. “I feel strongly which I can make it.”From then on, I have regarded it for my motto. It was 7:15 in the morning of February 8, 2007. I was walking along Park Road towards the east while an old man came out of the park on the other sides of the street. Then I saw a yellow car drive up Third Street and made a right turn into Park Road. The next moment the car hit the man while she was crossing the road. He fell with a cry. The car didn’t stop and drive off at full speed heading west. I noticed the driver was young woman wore a pair of glasses and the plate number was AC864. After two minutes later, I stopped a passed car and took the old man to the nearest hospital.
Knowing how to do in case of fire is important. If a fire break out, what would you do? First, you should warn everyone in the building about the danger. Don’t panic or start shouting. Be calmly and act quickly. Second, you and all the others should be get out of the building. Don’t stop take anything with you. Once you are out of the building, stay out. Do not go back for some reason. Finally, when you are out of the building, calling the fire police. Don’t try to put off the fire yourself. That can be dangerous if you do.
It was a chance of a lifetime to win the first
prize on the Story Writing Show. All I had to do
was to write a story or present it. My teachers
have been telling me how great my writing was.
So if they had said was true, I would have a chance
of winning the prize. What were better, I had useful
help. There was Uncle Chen, gentleman living
near my house, who was a very much famous writer.
He agreed to reading my story and give me some
advices on how to write like a real writer.
