Many of us feel somehow nervously whenever we are taking an important exam. Nervousness not only does harm to students' health but disturb their studies. So it’s necessary for our students to learn to relax. I think it's very important to have a right attitude for exams. Exams are only a means of checking how we have leaned. Therefore, there is no need to worry too much the results of the exams. Before an exam, make a scientific study plan and keeping a peaceful mind must help to reduce the pressure from the exam. We can also relax ourselves by doing sports and listening to music. Beside, enough sleep and a balanced diet will work as well.

Last February, I was on holiday in Beijing with my family. One morning, I was sleeping soundly while I was woken up by a suddenly cry of my sister, “It’s snowing.” I got up quickly, dressed me and opened the window. Wow, I couldn’t believe in my eyes. Everything including trees, roofs and grass were covered with thick snow. In distance I saw lots of cars, like small white box, moving slowly on the road. I also saw some lovely birds flying happily in the snow. How a beautiful sight! I became exciting because I had never seen snow before. I used to be a very self-centered person, but in the past two years I really changed. I have started to think about other people after I think about myself. I am happy that I am becoming the different person.
I think my change started when I was at Palomar College. At first, I just want to get my degree and be left alone. I thought I was smarter than everyone else, so I hardly ever talked to anyone in my classes. By the end of my first semester, I was really lonely. That seemed as if everyone besides me had made friend and was having fun. So I tried an experiment. I started asking people around me how they were doing, and whether they were having trouble, I offered to help. That was real a big step for me. By the end of the year, I had several new friends, two of them are still my best friends today.

Today is Sunday. The sky is full of sunshine, so does my life. At about 9: 00 am, I go to the bookstore with my friends. There was a lot of new books. I didn’t know what one to buy because these books were all useful to me. At 10: 00, we went to cinema. The film was called The Earthquake of Tangshan but some people were waiting outside the booking office. It took to us about two hours to see it. Having seen the film, everyone was deeply moving. Some friends even burst out tears. That’s a really wonderful film. It is very worth seeing again. What a happy day! I hope tomorrow I will be even happier!
