I like music very much, pop songs particularly. Every evening then I am doing homework and at weekends when I at home, I always play some of my favorite songs on my tape recorder. The familiar patterns of notes attracts me into the colourfully world of music. Now and then I stopped to follow the songs. Sometimes, my mother comes in, asking me to fix my attention to my homework. She does not like the pop music. Like most grown-ups, she enjoys folk songs, because the peaceful music reminds her of their beautiful life when she was young. It is a truth which people of different age understand music differently and enjoy different kinds of music.
I will share with you a story happened a few days ago. One of my classmate bought a bag of snacks from a food store. A few roommates were then invited to enjoy snacks. Unluckily, all of them got poisoned and had stomachaches with our faces pale. They are quickly sent to a nearby hospital. Doctors examined them but gave them some medicine. They were out of danger soon before taking the medicine. This accident should make us to realize the seriousness of the food safety problem. I strong suggest that the whole society pays more attention to food safety.

Several days before, a few of my friend and I went on a picnic on the beach of the Jialing River. It is about five miles far from the city. We arrived that place in the morning. Most of us go swimming immediately. While in the water, we played an interesting game. Those which were on the beach had some other activity. Some of them even sang and danced happy. There were still others who were interested in nothing, except picked beautiful stones. In the evening, we returned home. What a happy day it was!
Three years ago I failed a important exam in my life and became a student in an ordinary school. Disappointing as I felt at the shabby campus and the poorly-equipped classroom, but I found the teachers patient and considerate. Besides, I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere on class. I decided to make best of it. I work hard and got along well with my teachers and classmates. Whenever I had difficulties, they were seldom available. Soon, I became one of the top student in my class, which greatly increased my confident and got me motivated.
My experience tells me that it is not what you are given but how you make use of it which determines who you are.
One day, it was cloudy. An old man together with his grandson were waiting for the bus at the bus stop. Beside them stood a school boy with a umbrella in their hands. Before long, it started raining and then it began raining hardly．The old man and his grandson began to run because the sudden rain. Seeing that, the school boy hurried to help them, shouted to them, “Don't run, Grandpa, and you will fall down. Let's shared the umbrella together.”With these words, he held the umbrella over the old man and the little boy. It was not long since the bus came and they get on the bus together.

My father go fishing alone every Sunday. This morning when we were got up , it was fine. Father decided to go fishing, so mother stopped him,said that it was going to rain according to the weather forecast. She asked him to put off his raincoat, but he did not take her advices. When he got to the river, it was cloud. Soon the rain began to fall heavily and he was caught in it. After she got home , he was wet through. “Did you catch some fish?” asked my mother. “No, but I caught bad cold,” he answered.
