第一节：短文改错（共10小题，每小题1.5分，满分15分）
此题要求改正所给短文中的错误。对标有题号的每一行作出判断：如无错误，在该行右边横线上画一个勾（√）；如有错误（每行只有一个错误），则按下列情况改正：
该行多一个词：把多余的词用斜线（\）划掉，在该行右边横线上写出该词，并也用斜线划掉；
该行缺一个词：在缺词处加一个漏字符号（∧），在该行右边横线上写出该加的词；
该行错一个词：在错的词下划一个横线，在该行右边横线上写出改正后的词。
注意：原行没有错的不要改。

I am a high school student. A few days before, one of my very good friend told me that he was going to stop the school. He said that he wanted to start his own business. One day, I was cooking in the kitchen as the telephone rings. I went to answer it immediately. She was my close friend, Lisa. When we were talking on a phone, the fire alarm sounded. I ran back to the kitchen. The room full of smoke and the beef was bad burnt. I quickly turned off the gas, opening all the windows, and then went out of the house. In my surprise, two fire engines were outside my house. I was rather worried. I told about the firemen that it was my careless cooking which caused the heavy smoke.

Last Sunday I was walking to the Green Lake Park while I met a foreign visitor who seemed to be losting. I tried to help him but I found we had troubles in understanding each other because my poor English. Just at that moment, a young lady came to help. She spoke well English. The foreigner was unable to find the way with her help, and I learned some English, either. Before the foreigner left, he said he was thankful for their kindness. It was at that time that I decide to work harder at English. This experience has been made me realize that English is really useful.
