The winter holiday is coming, which made me excited. I have been looking forward at
relaxing myself. I’d like to go skating, climb mountains and see several movie. I think I can play

Great Britain consists of four countries: England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. On the 13th century Wales was linked to England. In 1603, they were joined to Scotland. They were united in peace instead of by war. Furthermore, just as they were going to get Ireland connecting to form United Kingdom, the southern part of Ireland was broke away, so only Northern Ireland joined with England.
England is the larger of the four countries and for convenience it was divided into three zone: the South of England, the Midlands and the North. Most of the population are settled in the South, and most of the industrial cities is located in the Midlands and the North.
London is the capital city with the great historical treasures, that has the oldest port built by the Romans in the 1st century AD, the oldest building begun by the Anglo Saxons in the 1060s and oldest castle constructed by later Norman rulers in 1066.

Last week, our school had organized an activity to climb the West Mountain. As soon as we arrived at the foot of a mountain, we set out for the summit in high spirits. During the climb, we had such much difficulty passing the rocky areas. But under the teacher’s help, we eventually reached the top, where we greeted by the bright sunshine and fresh air. Seeing from the top, the city was extreme beautiful. This event turned out to be very success. Not only did we take a break from our heavy school work, and also we learned what to communicate with each other.

I was real nervous when I got to my new school. I grabbed our bag and walked down toward the dormitory building. With my joy, I got warm welcome, and was shown to my room. I always think my mother is also your good friend. When I lose my first tooth, when I found a friend, and when I fell off from my bike, she was there. She was proud when I succeeded but supportive when I failed. She always listened me. She seemed to know when I was asking for advices and when I just needed a good cry. We actual shared experiences, hopes, sadness and fears. She made me felt that my opinions were never small and silly. She never forgot to tell me what she believed in me. Now my mother is facing with some difficulties in life. I want to tell her everything will be OK and I believe in her, too.
